Planning for a Trip

1. Forms required for all outings
   • PERMISSION WAIVER - EVERY person on the trip WHO IS NOT a Sierra Club member (even ICO volunteers)
     MUST sign this form!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

   • PHOTO RELEASE - Should be signed by all trip participants! (This is actually optional but strongly encouraged
     so that we can use the photos for publicity.)

2. Van Rental
   • Purchase the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), or sometimes called the Loss Damage Waiver (LDW).
   • Purchase the supplemental liability insurance from the rental agency. Sierra Club's Automobile Liability Insurance provides liability coverage for drivers of rental vehicles IN EXCESS of your personal insurance.
   • Sign the rental agreement as follows: "Sierra Club/Driver's name."
   • We often use U-SAVE in Allston or Somerville, but it is a good idea to confirm one day before that they have the vehicle.
   • The Sierra club has a 10% corporate disc with Avis and Alamo Avis #V224600 Alamo #72417
